Hi everyone!

I don't seem to get on here like I used to, but I just got a couple of AG 110s and had a question.

The two AGs arrived today and both have the point far off center when closed. They are just alike. If the tang is held towards my body, both knives have the blade tip right up against the left side liner. There seems to be no blade play in the closed position like some 110s have. Lock-up is good.

I just wanted to see if this was a normal condition on the AGs since both are exactly the same.

Thanks for your help.

i can feel with you if it is a display knife..
if i take out out for some one to see i also want it perficto!

now if it is a user ..diff story
some off dont affect using at all and
i have heard that they can settel in after a while and center up..
MHO= if it is brushing on the bolster on the one side
send it in
if not use it a while and see if it gets better or worse
if not to your likening send it back and let them take a look at it

Thanks, DAve. It just seems odd that both are exactly the same concerning blade alignment.

Thanks again,

Yes, I wonder too. I have four standard 420HC 110's. All lock up perfect and close precisely centered. I bought one BassPro CPM154 and it closes with the tip against one side. It makes me think the 420HC blades may machine-up better than the fancy blades.

Nope, I don't think that's normal.
Mine is centered very nicely.

I would send them back to Cabela's with a note explaining what's wrong.

My ag folding hunter opens and closes smooth, and has a great solid lock up,with that being said the blade of off center when in the closed position. No worries ,its purely cosmetic.
