Whats the easiest way to break the threadlock bond on the pivot pin on a AG Russel One Hand Knife, or any knife for that matter. Whenever I disassemble a blade for service I always use a removable thread lock when reassembling, but some are put together with permanent thread lock and I'ld like to know how to take them apart. Someone onnce told me to use heat? Like what a torch, or a soldering iron?

A soldering iron is what I have heard of using. I have never tried it myself, but I am sure the more adventurous types will be along to explain anytime now.............BTW, those AG Russell knives are nice. How do you like yours?

Not sure about your knife, but I've removed clip screws on Microtech products by heating them up with a hairdryer.:)

This is the second one I've had in 15 years, got my first one at the ECKS back in the late 80's. I bought it from Mr. Russel himself In fact I'll never forget it was my first knife show and they had to take Mr. Russel to the hospital for stitches he cut himself on his own knife. As to How I like it, it's been with me ever since,I usually carry it in my wallet,(because it's so thin), or I modified it and installed a pocket clip to clip it to my pocket, great knife though.
