I'm thinking of ordering a couple of these after the holiday weekend. Maybe even get a bunch of them to give as gifts.
My girlfriend was saying she wanted a pocket knife. It has to be small enough to put in her pocketbook. I refuse to buy anything "cheap", but...she loses things(frequently). The clipped folders that I usually think of she probably would never carry. She likes "girly" stuff:barf:...........:D
I imagine it will mostly be used for little things like cutting thread, tape on packages, maybe opening mail, etc.
I thought of this little AGR that I'd looked at in the past. I like the blade shape, the size, the simple, accessible lock, VG-10 bladesteel, $24.95 price, and it seems girly enough for her.
I've actually wanted one of these knives for myself for a long time, and have been looking for an excuse to get one, but would welcome any comments, particularly negative ones if there's anything I need to know before ordering.

Feedback, anyone?

It's a terrific knife, especially for the money it's a bargain.

Very sharp and very nicely made.

Included with mine was a leather slipcase which I didn't even see mentioned anywhere.

Mine came with a cool leather pouch too.

Great knife ! I heated mine to a cool blue color and fileworked the spacer. :D

If the build quality is on par with the Ultimate Pen Knife, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.

Hadn't even thought of that. That's a great idea. Could be really cool, and for $25, if you screw it up, so what? Only thing I've ever heat colored was a Ti spork with a butane torch, but it turned out great.
Thanks, guys.

I went ahead and ordered two. I'm trying to get a bunch of little stuff together for her birthday ahead of time...
If I'm happy with mine, I'll probably order a bunch for stocking stuffers come Christmas time.
Do keep the comments coming, regardless. Someone else may be considering these, or find the thread on a search later:thumbup:

Hard to add much to the above, but I will say that I really like the one I bought a couple of months back. Awesomely sharp blade, light and thin as a feather. Would be cheap at twice the price. Only issue: it really needs a hole for a split ring or a direct dummy cord, as it's going to be waaay to easy to lose! :D

Got the two I ordered out of the mailbox just now. What wonderful little knives. One's a bit gritty on opening, but it's barely noticeable. Both of them have pretty good edges out of the box.
I'm thinking I might carry mine in my wallet. My only concern is how easy it might be to lose. They're so light that when I went to check out the second one, having both boxes in my hand, I opened the empty box. Wish these had a keychain attachment like the even smaller pen knife version.
Very slick:)

If you do decide to try an heat color them , the Ti is super thin , it turned to blue in about 30 seconds.
:D
