Hey all. I have some of this that i use on my fillet knives and am wondering if since it is silcone based, if it will damage the bottom of my tackle boxes like the worms do. anyone know if this product damages plastic? i went with it since it was non petroleum based.

Silicone oil should not damage a plastic tackle box or any other plastic item.

It won't hurt the tackle box, but I wonder about using it on knives that come in contact with food or soon-to-be food. Mineral oil might be a better choice?
