Last month I purchased a Russell Premium Scout knife. The main blade is 154 CM, the others are 420, and the scales are a beautiful brown bone.
Any idea who makes that knife? By the looks I'd guess Camillus or Boker, but I'm far from expert in identifying knive makers. The main blade says 2004.
I chaperoned at my daughter's Girls' Camp 2 weeks ago. The knife more than passed muster. It is well built and solid. The main blade stayed sharp through cutting rope and whittling, and I found lots of novel uses for the sharp can opener in the kitchen, mainly cutting the plastic wrap around dry packaged lemonade containers.
