Alright, what the heck is wrong with my Mule in Super Blue? I have been bitten by it more than any other knife I own. It happened again this morning. o_O I was using it for some very light work when my left thumb got a fraction of a hair too close to the edge. Perceptually, I barely felt that I had even touched the edge. The feeling was akin to a house fly landing on your arm, if that. Then the blood...without which I would not have even known that I cut myself. No pain whatsoever--just blood--and enough of it to require a large bandaid to stem the flow. What a knucklehead I am! I swear there is no way I should have been cut, but this super blue stuff leaves absolutely zero room for error. Maybe I should get one of those gloves guys use to protect their weak hand when they fillet fish.

Here's a pic of the offender. A real PITA this one is! And if you look closely as I have, you'll find no remorse, no sympathy, no apology. It stands quite ready to bite me again. It's enough to drive a guy to drink!

I have the new S90 Military that's gotten me twice already. This is the first time I have cut myself since the Lionspy showed up in the mail - that one got me a number of times as well.

I got this knife from a fellow Tucson who put the handles on it (@noseoil). I wish I could say it was the finger guard or lack thereof, but the sad truth is that it's the darn tip. One minute it's fine, the next minute it's like a rattlesnake going after the nearest thing with a heat signature, usually one of my fingers!

Definitely one of those things that happens from time to time, lol... My K390 urban is the one that bites me the most... by a large margin, lol.
Put a bit'a honey on it (with bandaid of course), and it'll heal up unbelievably fast. You'll be good as new & ready for the next one..
u.w.

Lc200n, even with a grippy handle, sometimes it slips, and sometimes it bites. Fortunately for me it didn't go deep enough to draw red. Still stings like hell when i got some Odoban on it though LOL. The things we do for sharpness.
