FT Kephart... Black Paper Micarta. I blame you all for the loss of my money.

Especially CountryBoyCanSurvive - who wrote a smokin' review of it on... that other forum.

Oof, that's a nice blade, looks perfect for bush work. Just wish BRKT wasn't so expensive. Hope you enjoy it man.

Nice choice, TF!

I came very close to buying one this month myself, but decided to order one of Brian's bushcraft knives at Off the Map Outfitters. A BRKT Kephart will be next....

Let us know how you like it!

Hey... who's going to make you a sheath for it? ;)

Stay sharp,
desmobob

If I only knew a competent sheath maker! I will be selling the one I am getting with it - if anyone needs it.

Expect a FULL review when I get it and can test it. I am having Country Boy make me a matching firesteel too.

I am psyched!

TF

Congrats on the new blade! Well, I am sure you will find someone who can make decent sheaths.. :D

You're gonna like it. One of my favorite BRKT's. Mine is in tigerstripe.

PS: My office is just down the road from you in Park Ten.

No shit!

We need to get together and hike or what have you.

If you need a sheath - drive over - I can hook you up!

I am in Old Katy. I play off South Mason (basically)

TF

You said you worked at Lone Star College Cy-Fair. Barker Cypress and West, due north of Park Ten. Never been there but we engineer a lot of schools for CFISD in that area.

You will NOT be disappointed with that knife, my friend. It will take all the abuse you can give it. A very, very comfortable using knife too. Good choice.

And yeah, I think you got the sheath thing covered.:D

TF, you need to pick up the Kephart Companion to go along with that Kephart!

I haven't seen any in black paper micarta, but I'll be countryboy could put one together for you! :D
