I have ercently added the 3rd CQC7 to my collection, its a satin blade plain edge version with the wave from 2008. It was slightly used, but in perfect condition. Was a good deal from a friend...DAMN..I love these 7's  they are simple, and AWESOME.

I cleaned sharpened and adjusted the knife, its like NEW  and i do not feel regret buying the 3rd almost similar knife:P

Congrats. I like the 7's too. So simple to sharpen those straight edges.

There is nothing at all wrong with multiple knives of the same model.
Its good for your health and stuff........ or so I keep telling the other half ;):p

Pre-need replacements are a good thing.
What are you to do if you lost or misplaced one?
Now you have a couple of spares.
If I find a knife I like a lot, I buy extras too.
I have 2 7Bs, and I'd like to get more.:D

yeah, i feel the 7 love myself.
2001 7b
2009 7b
2006 super 7

i like all of mine coated and plain edge

the improvements from 2001 to 09 are amazing. the locking liner is really thick now, and the g10 is very grippy. and of course the g10 backspacer is a plus .

i am soo glad this one is perfectly centered, so i am happy.

i always scrape away the coating on the emersons right under the washers on the blade, and also hit the liners where the washers rub with fine sandpaper. put a little lube on the blade and washers, open it a few times and it is silky smooth!

i might trade an AFCK i have for a 15, we shall see

sadly, i only have one seven. :(

Yea, the CQC-7 has to be one of my favorites! Working on at least 3 dozen of those babies and still looking for the odd and unusual ones out there. Just can't have enough of them.......................
