My 105 Buck knife is marked: Buck 105 U.S.A.

The word Buck is towards the point of the blade.
Is there any info on the age of the knife?
All that I know is that it is older than 20 years.
 
That sounds like an inverted 3 line knife from 1972.

Depends on what is meant by "towards the point"
I interpret that to mean an upright marking.

hmeier4799, is the tang marking read with the tip of the knife pointing up or down?
 
Sounds to me it is somewhere between about 1973 to 1985.
You can pin it down more by the number of spacers.
 
The markings are read with the tip of the blade pointing up.
There is little space between the lines of markings.
 
Well, that eliminates the inverted 3 liner from 1972. Never make a quick assumption.
