Just got a UH897 purchased on Ebay. I wondered about the age of the knife, just to the decade. Tang stamp vertical in order: SCHRADE; WALDEN; NY USA; STAINLESS. No model number on the knife. The other 2 blades have "stainless" on the tangs Thanks for the help.

We'd have to see some good pictures or scans of the knife to give you a good idea of the pattern and age, but based on your description, it was made some time prior to 1973. Look inside the brass liners to see if there is a serial number stamped there.

A quick look at the brass liners does not reveal a number. I did notice that the backsprings are carbon steel. Thank you for the help.
