Age of Uncle Henry

These were made from 1979 through 1982, four years in production. It was the Uncle Henry version of the 14OT Timberline, introduced in 1978. A fistfull of knife for sure at nearly a half pound, with an agressive stainless clip blade. That help? Welcome to the forum, Robert!

Thanks for stopping in and showing us a great knife, Bob. Mike has answered your question. The serial number was so one could register the knife to take advantage of the 'Lost' Warranty. Can you believe that?.. A manufacturer willing to replace your knife if you lose it?

Thanks guys great info, yes it sure is one heavy sob. I bought it at a yard sale for 20 dollars canadian. Any idea the price when it was new.

About $40 when intro'd, fifty when discontinued. That is one I have not added to my collection yet, so I cannot give you any opinion on it's usefulness. I only recently acquired a 14OT, and have not tried it out yet. You got a pretty good deal on yours, Now I have a goal to shoot for, a 144UH for under $20!
