hi, i live in taunton, ma in the US and i am wondering what is the age requirement to buy a knife and what is the age requirement to carry a knife.
i work at a knife shop because currently we are selling only to people 18 years or older, but have heard the req. was actually 16.
the store has it at 18 but the walmart in town says the law is at 16.
and it's not a small store, we're in a mall so people know where we are.
also i heard there was a 2 1/2 inch limit on assisted knife but the one i saw at walmart was kershaw assisted and definately over 3 1/2 inches.
