Hello,
I have an old Schrade pocket knife that I am curious about it's age, and if it has any significant value. It is almost identical to the current 285UH Pro Trapper. The clip blade is stamped with "Schrade Walden N.Y. USA" and the number 293, on the reverse side.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

The 293 ( under Schrade Walden) is a 3,7/8" 2 bladed trapper It was made in jigged delrin. And peachseed bone . In bone in mint or near mint conditon 70 to 125. In jigged delrin 20 to 35. Again this is in really unused condition. ( Note also made with a serrated blade version ) a bit more rare. Prices are subject to situation and are subjective. Prices quoted are more along the line of what you would find on ebay,or retail, in a knife show or similiar venue It could be different. Two bucks at a flea market. Although I never fine these bargains I have been told about. It is a nice knife and it will only appreciate. Good Hunting LT. PS want to know if it is jigged bone or jigged delrin. Well that takes a bit longer send me a jpeg and I will see if I can help you out. PPS. sorry, age 1946-1973 chances are 60tys or early 70 tys.
