Agggghhh, boot decision time!

Man, I am having a terrible time picking my new boots. I wanted to stay with Merrell, but they have so many designs from which to choose! I also went a half size larger than my last pair. I ended up ordering Phaser Peaks, Refuge Cores, and the Col Mids, all waterproof. I've tried them all on, and now I have to decide. I can say that the Refuge Cores feel the most like my old Moabs, Light and flexible. The others have more leather and might need some break in. I hate decisions like this.

I just got a pair of Rocky S2Vs.
Not waterproof but I love them.They say that if you fill them with water that the vent system they have will vent all the water out with in an hour when wearing them.

I ware a pair of Matterhorn 12900's every day all day... in fact its the only shoe I own...but its a heavy boot but its saved my feet countless times

How did you like the Moabs?

I had a pair for a short time.

On the first hike they soaked completely thru and I burned them up trying to dry them in the fire

Luckily I had a pair of keen sandals so I used them to complete the hike.

Were yours waterproof?

I'm breaking in a pair of Zamberlain 310's now.

I have the Phasers and the Col Mids x 2!!

Col Mids are real comfortable and are ED worn Phasers are higher cut so only certain times do I wear!!

Col Mids are SUPER comfortable TO ME I new the first time I slipped my feet in them that they would be worn A LOT!!!

I moved it. It had no W&SS content. I've gone over this numerous times and there is even a sticky bout it.
