When I first saw these I thought "wow, what a simple and good idea."
Just carry a pre-made arrowhead in your survival kit. It's a great time saver in a survival situation. So I ordered two to check'em out... one for my bug out bag and one for my belt kit.
These little AH-1 Arrowheads are great!:D They're very compact and razor sharp! You'll have no trouble making a spear point, arrow, or game trap with one of these. In fact, I'm ordering more. I think having two or three on you will better your odds if you have to hunt for game or set a trap.
ESEE has an Arrow fan here.:thumbup:

I don't know if I'll ever use them, but I really wanted to play with some, so I ordered 3. I can't wait!

I own a pair of AH-1's, use it for a frog/fish gig & firesteel striker

Once I get these I will be sure to have a few in my bag. They seem to be very handy, and using one as a striker would be pretty neat, too.

I keep one as a Firesteel striker and the other rest in my PSK Fishing kit with my ESEE6 ,I need another 2-3 :D

I am in Colombia right now at our vendor here that sews some backpacks for us. You will soon see a very small carry sheath that will hold two AH-1s :)

i love these little AH-1's.. i bought one for myself anf one for my father in law, he is also a traditional archer..

The more i hear about these arrowheads the more i want a couple.

You won't be sorry. Trust me, order at lest two or three to start if you can.
You're going to think of all kind of ways to use them. :D
They come with a "RAT Survival Tips"pocket card too.

I like to see that... heck, order one! Please post a link.

Right now I'm using a "Tubular Flasks" to hold mine with military cord, wire
and folded duck-tap in case I need to make a spear or arrow.

Bought the Tubular Flasks and other items here:

i'd like to tinker with them one of these days. too bad i don't have a machine shop/welding skills. i'd like to put threads on it to fit the bottom of the hiking poles stores sell. that's a ready made spear right there that can be assembled in a pinch.

i use my own home made hiking sticks so maybe i can drill holes on top and just toss a 5 min. epoxy in the pack. i can build a spear out of it in a few minutes if needed.
