LOL!

Went to a gun show today, and spotted a really sharp Schrade 89OT. No box, but in really nice shape.

Took out my pocket PC and went to the spreadsheet I created that lists all the OTs I currently have. No 89OT listed, cool. Talked a while to the dealer (who had a boatload of Winchester bullet knives that were cool) and got him off his asking price by 7-bucks on the 89OT and bought it, along with a NIB 49OT that I also didn't have.

Got home, looked at my collection...and realized I FORGOT TO UPDATE MY SPREADSHEET! ROFL! I had bought a NIB 89OT two weeks ago at another gun show.

Well, having two of the same isn't bad too bad. Looks like I have a new user.

Only two? Study them carefully, and you will find a half dozen different ones. Master Mechanic, Craftsman, Copenhagen, etc. etc. OOPS! Forgot Ducks Unlimited!

Can't have enough of that cool model.

Anyone have two of anything? I don't think our members here make enough use of the EXCHANGE forums here at BFC. What was it, last year..? I kinda broke the rules and mentioned in this forum that I was offering Schrades for trades on the exchange. I think we were all happy with our transactions.

Waliguy.. that is the way to do a gun/knife show. You're getting good at this stuff!

Yeah, and spending too much money ;)

My meager collection two months ago of about 6 Schrades has taken a quantum leap into the mid-70s. I have tried to concentrate on just the Old Timers, my favorite line.

The Winchester bullet pocket knives I saw yesterday were very very cool. This guy also had tables and tables of knives, including some Remington limited editions.

For now anyway, the easiest way for me to focus on Schrades is to buy what I like, and keep track of what I have. It didn't work yesterday (I went 1 for 2) but frankly, I've gotten a fair number of the easier to find Old Timers now...and I see that the prices will go up on the harder to find models.
