well doing some last minuite shopping, I ran across a person at a booth selling knives. Some nice ones, the rest knockoffs. I have talked to him before, but the thing that I find funny is that he claims that so and so knifemaker, and mr this and that ripped him off, and apparently way back in the 80s he started making recurve blades and large folders before anybody else did.

I don't know about you, but usuially if someone is going to complain about somebody else ripping off his designs, then why is he selling knockoffs?

(Moderators, I really don't know where to post this, so put it where you want)

that think they invented recurves, or reinvented since kukris and ancient greek kopis are all recurves, some aren't lucky enough to MAKE IT.

did he go to gun shows and such? advertise and such? the things hard working people who make it usually do.

selling knock-offs, though I hate them and wouldn't myself some have to make a living and live by what the market that demands.

I guess it is ironic that someone would steel his design and make a carbon copy of it. :p
