Felt like sharing a little. Wanted to get all these together before I decide which ones take on one role or another.

Nice blades! Looks like you've been hooked by Busse and kin! Congrats! Quite a change from a few months back, no?

Hooked, perhaps. I like them.
As for the change, I'm a bit confused. Before ever posting in the forums I had a Busse LCABS from Blade ATL, as well as a Boss Jack CG, and a Scrapizashi.

Ah, my bad, I was mistaken. Sorry.

edit: Totally my bad. I had you confused with someone else. Again, sorry.

N2K,
That is a great looking set. What do you have in mind for them? My fav's would be the RMD LE and the Clip Point Bowie. I have a CABS also and is a sweet knife and also a favorite.

SpyderPhreak, don't worry bout it. No need for an appolgy. High probability I'll make a similar mistake at some point.

As to what I have in mind for them, well how do I best attempt to answer this…
Often, I find a task that calls for a certain tool.
With the variety (in not just these RMDs, but in all my knives), I have a much better shot at having the correct tool.
If I may stray from knives for a moment; ever met a screw or nail that would have been easier to tackle had you had a slightly different screwdriver or hammer in your hand? It is the same thing here.
If I have a task where a knife is the proper tool, having variety gives me more options.
Basically, I have to determine which goes in a tool box, which accompanies in a vehicle (daily or while traveling). Which goes along on outdoor adventure and which may earn a spot in a BOB. And so on, suject to change as needed.

That is a nice collection. I have the same affliction for RMD's but I am not as cerebral as you with the variations for different applications. My affliction is just pure addiction, all the different colors and all. I got my LE shipping notice last night and can't wait. I just hope they get here before I leave to Vegas for a week.

I have been pestering Eric for a choiless version at every opportunity. I think he might finally break down and make one, even if just to stab me with it.

I think I would let him stab me to get a choiless RMD. Bring It!!

Very nice collection of RMD's. Thank you for sharing. I love them all

Thanks guys.
And a choiless varient would get my order as well.

The RMD is just such a good "general all-rounder" for so many tasks.
Plus, I like the size, materials, design, balance, feel, and so on…in an eye-appealing package.

Cool! That is a nice looking set of RMD's! Personally, I LOVE the choil on the RMD. It is perfectly sized, placed and useful for me. However, I would no doubt be unable to resist trying an no-choil version. Just because...

The clip point bowies looks great! What lines on that knife!
