Old Bill was president, I was in my 30's and had little money, but I could afford cheap fantasy knives. Who else loved these right down to their muti-colored Dymondwood hilts. My favorite was the "Road Warrior II" a ringed, knuckle-knife, with a full tang. It was ABSURD, the most dangerous-looking thing I've ever seen! Made in Japan, 440 stainless, I've never used it for anything, but I still take it out and look at it. I'm away from my main house right now, I'd show a pic, but I couldn't find one. Here are some you might remember:

I still have a soft spot for outlandish fantasy knives. Pakistan actually got good for awhile

This is a knife I've been planning on using to baton with. Hmmm...how many whacks do you think it will take to split a heavy log in two? :D

I used to look at these things when I drove by Smoky Mountain Knife Works in Tennessee. They had a whole lot of those Frost knives on display. I always liked the Romulan Death Knives with 18 sharpened edges... Dang, those things were U.G.L.Y...

Careful or you might need " emergency surgery in the studio " .

Who the hell is Old Bill and is he old enough to be dead and gone now?

Bill Clinton! Surely it's not THAT long ago. I'm always kind of afraid of my Road Warrior II, and for good reason. The thing is like handling a razor blade on steroids. Just LOOKING at it and you could cut yourself!
