It's a good day to do some forging. J.Arbuckle will be coming over this afternoon to do a little heat and beat. Saturday , I will try to get a sheath made for a long term project and hopefully get the whole thing done by the weeks end. What ya'll doin.
 
oh...I'll be finishing 3 sheaths and wrapping up those and starting new knives Monday I hope. Rocking my little angle and teasing the rest of the family sounds like my plan for the weekend :)
 
Finishing up that sheath this morning, then applying a topcoat.

Got two folders to complete this weekend. The wife wants me to work on tiling the bathroom this weekend. I told her FAT CHANCE. :D
 
Got the truck loaded and ready to head north to my son's place. We are converting our wax reconditioner ( investment casting wax ) to wood burning from natural gas. As many of you have found out the hard way natural gas prices have gone out of sight:mad: At least while I am there I get to play with my grandkids:thumbup:
 
Gathering leaves out tof the yard. Last weekend my wife and I got 48-39 gal. bags of leaves. We are maybe half way done.

The fire danger puts leave rakeing in a high priority category here in OK.

Mark, glad I didn't have to do your job this time. Plan to go to the dump this morning and then figure out what I'm going to do with the rest of the day.
 
Got some time with the new bandsaw and heat treating last night. Had one blade make a slight warp but my GF couldnt even see it. May be my eyes.....

Tonight, taking down the xmas tree, cleaning up a few blades after HT.

Saturday, Heading up to NH with the GF for some short dayhikes in the lincln area...hitting up the basin, falling waters, possibly chapney and lower falls for some winter sight seeing.

Sunday, Final grinding on an order, attaching handles, sending it and my recent camp knife off to Paul Long for sheaths.
 
I will be down at my fathers shop Saturday tearing apart a Chevy Blazer for parts for my Chevy Blazer. Good front end, good interior etc. I love tearing crap apart! And I get to keep it! :) :) :)

Opps :eek: gonna go to IG's, plan on doing some file work on a blade, but with Wa..Wa..Wally celebrating the Big B Day,,,,,well,,,,filing first celebrating after :D for me anyway, can't celebrate too much though or IG's B Day will be my divorce day :eek: .

That's the place. I got to work in the morning so I won't get there till arround 11:00ish. I'll be lookin for some deals too.....maybe a few tongs. Look me up.
