(Ahem), my Old Hickory 3 1/4" paring knife is GREAT!

Don't think for a minute that these "Old Hickory" are "second rate". I just put an extremely sharp edge on this "fresh out of the box" Paring Knife. It worked very well! I think that these are are better than most of the stainless steel knives on the market today.

"Old Hickory"... Since 1924!
