Ahh Can't Decide On Griptillian

Drop point. More generally useful blade design and just as proficient for SD.

Get the black teflon coated plain edge D2 steel, from Cabela's.

i personally don't like the finger hole in the blade.

i don't plan on getting a black coated blade if i get a drop point. the only reason i'm considering a black coated tanto is because it's the only tanto available.

also, keep in mind im trying to stick to the similar price range (ie im not gonna buy a BM722)

I'd go with the drop point... heck, I DID go with the drop point! Of course, I got mine before the tanto was even an option...
If you do get the drop point, are you going to get a black handle or an OD green handle?

I like the mini-grip for day to day use & office carry, as it is not too big to get me in trouble.

I carry the full size grip when home & wearing jeans or want a bigger blade.

I don't use the thumb stud or hole, I just pull back on the axis button to to open or close the knife.

I would go with the better steels of the exclusives,
Cabellas is http://www.cabelas.com has both sizes in coated D2 for about $75. plus s&h

and Doug Ritter RSK Mk1 is http://www.aeromedix.com/index.php?...e16f1d3d6934615
has just the full sized version in non-coated CPM S30V about $104.95 plus s&h

I vote for the drop point. The tanto blade looks cool and that is about it. I've never found them to be very useful for much to be honest.
