Do all Busse CG knives have uncoated spines?

My first one arrived in the mail today, a Combat Grade NO-E and it has the black crinkle finish on the sides but the spine (all the way around actually) looks to be hand sanded. Looks nice but since this in the only Busse I've handled I was wondering if they were all that way.

These things are enormous by the way. A lot bigger through the handle and wider across the blade than they appear on screen. Geez.

Bring it to Indy and I'll trade you a 12-pack of Keystone Light for it to help ease your disappointment.

Some are coated all around, some are ground all the way around, some are ground only on the handle.

Looks like you'll have to buy one of each to complete the set.;) :D

I have some two year old dried pasta and a can of spaghettio's I'll trade for it! Much better than that crappy keystone light!

:D :p

Citori,

Congrats on the NO. Since you asked I had to take out and look at my much loved (abused) NO. Now I think I will put it back on my Web Gear on Monday. :)

Is Keystone Light the stuff that comes in the special can designed to make it taste like bottled beer? That would make a big difference, really, in whether I'd want to make the trade.

I actually like the uncoated spine look and I just wanted to know if it came that way from Busse or if someone did it after. Thanks for the info all.

As Mike said there are different versions, I wouldn't worry it sounds like it was done at the factory. :D:D
