Well, I must say, I had forgotten the magic of the Sebenza!

Like many folks in the knife community, I tend to rotate through different knives as new ones are acqiured and as my preferences change.

Well... I pulled out my large Sebenza the other day to give it some pocket time and it just completely brought me back to why I fell in love with it in the first place. The simplicity, refinement, elegance, and just all around usefulness of this knife is incredible. So happy to be appreciating this beauty again like I once did. Such an incredible knife.

I am a huge Sebenza fan, but your background scenery stole the show from the Seb! The trees, the greenery, the small pen, the old weathered porch, the dirt pathway. . . That's out of a Steinbeck novel.

Appreciate all of the kind comments! And yes, the land ain't bad at all. It was a nice comfortable Texas morning.

Really nice looking land. It's great that you are enjoying your Starbenza again. I scotch brited the flats on my Starbenza too.

I think it looks better than all ti.

Thanks, I agree. I actually didn't use the scotchbrite on this one. I used high grit sandpaper until I achieved a mirror finish. I prefer it to the standard sandblast finish myself. I don't get all the scratching that I used to.

Stunning finish on a stunning knife... recently sold my large starbenza, wish I hadn't seen this post!

The Sebbie just works on so many levels - I currently have 2 and couldn't see myself being without them.

I'm not really rotating a bunch of different knives these days, I carry a CRK and Strider most every day. I've thought about the others, but that's as far as it gets. I guess I've found what works for me.
Great pics, great looking CRK set in a gorgeous background. Someone has to do a lot of work to keep it looking so crisp.

I love the starbenza.
But I like your coffee mug even more. Nothing like a CRK folks. Nothing.

Beautiful knife.. and some pretty land also!

Agree fully, just getting in the CRK's myself. But the beautifully elegant simplicity, build quality, and functionality is winning me over really fast.

As far as the land goes, that's pretty much the dream. Great knife, coffee, fantastic view, and a porch to enjoy them all on.

Thanks for sharing that. Really made my day.

Lone Star Mug , great….. I never thought of taking my CRK's OUT of my pocket ,,, still haven't found any I like better,, Sometimes you feel like an UM, sometimes you don't!
