I here by begin THE thread for this evening. W'ch yah got on the mind. Do i need to school anyone in the geology of the Appalachian Mtns this evening?

you know what I am excited for...I have 3 knives being made right now. Its like a Tibetan waiting to get his country back.

i am also curious as to what kind of wood Chris is planning on serving me with my order.

I've got a good word or two. I gave my daughter her first knife today. She's 12 and a really great kid. Always where she says she is, always doing what she knows is right. So I noticed she's been paying close attention when I sharpen my knives or more frequently my wife's kitchen knives.
Today I let her have her pick of three of my edc's. She chose the Skyline. A good choice, right size for her and a solid knife all around.
Thanks guys!

RK that's awesome. I remember when my dad gave me my first knife. I am sure she will too.

Im here! I just got home from work so there wasn't any grinding out of me today. The word of the day for me is "Kindness" I have been fortunate enough over the last few weeks to receive not one, not two, but three care packages from forum members. It amazes me at the generosity of you guys. Thats why this forum is the best. Its not always about the knives. I got enough gear to fill two packs, which is also what I received! There are good people left in this world and I appreciate it. You know who you are;)

Well, as far as knives go, I've got 2 on order. One from Chris. I think he's having to wait for some wood to dry.
Takes a lot longer than it does for paint to dry. LOL. Bill's finishing some other orders before he gets to mine.

i'm glad the gear bag situation got worked out...you never know when your gonna need it.

Oh, and I had another member gift me a block of stabilized wood that I should be getting this week. You guys made my month!

by the way Chris that reminds me i need you to PM me your address so i can ship you that knife

i got the box, sharpened it, and oiled it up today. so its all ready to come for a visit

Wilson, yeah I gotta wait on the wood. As soon as its close I will send it out to get stabilized with some other stuff. It shouldn't be that long.
Alan, yours will be done pretty soon. I have about five to grind and than around 10 to heat treat. After that, its off to blade finish and handles. I would say no later than next Tue.
Yours too J1M although Im going to have to wait on your special sheath a little, and by little I mean a week or so not 6 months!

you guys are too fast...Bill jsut told me a little while ago mine from him will be done soon as well
