Those things are fun as heck, no wonder you've been distracted from knifemaking. A friend had one and it was a blast to ride, especially going over jumps.

I could have bought a BRAND NEW Bridgeport w/dro for what I paid for me and my wife's atvs. But you know what? You only live once. Every moment I spend having fun with my wife and my son are precious. If you are wondering why my son has a scowl on his face, is because he was being a real arse to his mother who was taking the pic. He was impatient to hit a different trail.

What really stinks now is that I fell in love with a Victory I test drove when I went to pick up my atv! Now the Missus says I have to wait until Spring before I buy another toy. NOT FAIR! Maybe I'll just get crackin' and make a few knives and just ride one home.
 
You lucky Dog. Man those are a blast !!. Dont be trying any stunts one those things. You aint no spring chicken anymore. :)

Hey John, that yellow quad in the picture is my wife's. First time in her life she ever had anything like that. Her parents raised her and her sister to be ladies and they were never allowed to ride the mini-bikes or snowmobiles, etc. The look on her face as she's riding is priceless!

btw... I got a good look at IG's "Indian" in his shed. Its really a yamaha. :footinmou
 
I've only seen quads that clean in a showroom. :p

Just got back from a 4 day riding vacation in Wisconsin. The weather turned cold and rainy so we had to cut it short but ended up with 140 miles in a couple days anyway. They are a blast.
 
I want a custom bike with a supercharged 5 liter V-8, and nitrous just for fun. All wrought Iron black. No chrome but the gas cap and spokes.
 
LOL! Sweany I spilled my coffee! If you take your glasses off that looks just like Ed Fowler sitting on his cow trike.

Jeff I think you will have fun for years to come! I spent 27 years repairing motorcycles and ATVs and like the Hondas the best.

If I was to buy a new mororcycle I want the V Rod by HD Love that bike and IG wont rag on me either.
