This will be the last knife from me for a few weeks. I've got a bunch of sheaths to make and need to stop the knives and get them done. Why the name? The blade on this knife is exactly 13" plus it turns out to be the 13th knife in the serries I started in July. The blade is 5160, 1018 guard and the rest of the fitting are WI. I used a real piece of sambar stag on this knife. It's been a few years since I used any and I had forgotten how tuff this material was.

Wow. Great work. This piece is especially sleek and sexy looking.

The long lines and thin profile suggest high potential in the area of piercing.

Nic, I pierced myself with it yesterday before I put an edge on it. Working on this style blade I've pretty much got to put up with it...

Wow. That knife has some excellent curves. The S guard really goes well with that low-slung slim belly blade. And a stunning handle to go with it...

The bowie appeals to the eye. Makes one think of the Wild, Wild West and the days gone by.

Scenes of rugged cowboys on he cattle trail. Hazards of outdoor life, living in the rough. Such a knife would survive very nicely in that kind of environment. ;) :)
