I bought one of these about 2 weeks ago and I have to say i'm pretty impressed with it. For about $70 you can get decent flow and filtering (especially when grinding Micarta) but you still need to wear a respirator for the miscellaneous leftovers. I would recommend these for any home / small shop. I have mine just to the left of my grinder sitting about at the 6' mark hanging on the wall.

Neet little filter. I use a $10 box fan with a furnace filter installed on it. I used 3 strips of siding J-Channel mounted on 3 sides of fan. Filter fits perfect and takes a second to change. I mount it in the window and let it rip. Works pretty good.

Yea, but you have to have a window :D Well, I guess you don't , but I really like that setup. The Rigid one was more of an impulse buy when wandering through Home Depot.
