in all fairness the bugout did really well for what it is. Love my Airlite, we need a US made version with M4 steel.

Im surprised at how much the bugout held up. Technically bugout didn’t fail, the plastic handle just sheared off. If they use g-10 it’d probably last much longer.
Also im glad they pushed the airlite further past 200lb after the bugout failed, was surprisingly too.
Please do more challenges cold steel. We need to see that lawman vs something else like the 551-1 griptilian, 560bk-1 superfreek or the PM2/Manix 2

Been a few years, but back in 2015 they did a bunch of strength tests like that against other brands...can find at least some of them on youtube.

Yes I watched those videos, they don’t often compare similar knives. Eg they did ultimate hunter vs manix 2 and holdout ii vs paramilitary 2. The comparably knife to use is the Lawman which has identical size and weight. I suspect people who buys paramilitary isn’t in the market to buy a hold out, most people would compare to lawman instead.
They haven’t done griptilian yet, it’ll bea good comparison vs the lawman.
