Air purifiers

Anyone out there use air purifiers? Reason being, my house seems to collect a high level of dust. Before I purchase one I'd like to know whether they indeed are worth the investment.

I too would like to know what others are using. The dust in my apartment is unreal. I'm very clean and organized and everything gets COVERED in a matter of days.

I was looking at a Venta, but wanted to know if anybody has used it first hand.

I've seen the Oreck commercials and the technology seems sound (filterless) but I would also like to hear what others are using.
