Airboat Camping

Hey Joey, what a great time you must have had with ALL the family there to enjoy it with you! The privacy angle of the island really appeals to me.

The part that really amazes me is that that country (being deep in Yankee land) looks almost as good as TEXAS. I had no idea there was country north of Waco like that.

I lifted a bunch of pictures from the other thread as I didn't have any great ones of Kelly and the girls, and of course, the boys Jack and Tucco.

I enjoyed your thread and your trip more than you can know. Thanks

Paul

Paul you and the Misses gotta come out for a visit. We sure would like it and I know you guys would have fun

Love me and the family

P.S. maybe we can get STevie and his better half to make the trip also

Looks like an awesome time!
I have seriously been considering one of those hammocks for my upcoming Boundary Waters canoe trip.
Nice to see one in action!

P.S. Which model do you have?

Maybe, Joe.

Looks like you had a great time....and sounds like fun. Did I mention that my swimming pool water is 90 degrees?;)

Best Regards,

Joe, that is so awesome. You sounded so stoked last week and I'm so glad you posted some pics.
Guess what? I'm reading the very same book right now:thumbup:
It would be really great to get to PA to see my dad, and also to visit with you guys. It might take awhile, but I'm going to put my head down and figure out how to make that work.

I would like that and there is plenty of room:thumbup:

Do you know of any other good books on the subject

I have a little book on the uniforms which I'll send you. But I'm sure there is some pretty good stuff out there. Anything on Britain in WWII should have at least some mention of Ghurkas.
I think that in order to understand the Ghurkas, you'd have to go back and study the history of the Ghorka dynasty and how people were treated back then. Nepali history is very interesting, I haven't done much reading yet, but I am fascinated.

Thanks for the link Joe, that looks like it was a great time! You've got a good looking family, dogs included :)

Thanks for the link Joe, really enjoyed it.
Reminds me a bit of the James River that runs through Va.

Joe, if someone hasnt yet, you need to be nominated for "Awesome Dad 2010". :). You just earned it. Beautiful family and photos!
