Almost everyone likes flippers but don't like them inside their pockets, thinking on that I've designed this new retractable tang, which remains hidden inside the frame in both closed and open positions. There's a spring that works for it to stay close to the blade and just after the knife was finished I could prove the effect of it: when the detent releases the blade, the spring improves the flipping mechanism, which gives us the impression of an assisted opening or an auto, but still, it's just a flipper (check out the video). Blade is RWL34 with mirror bevels and satin flats, titanium frame and clip. Thanks for looking!

Wow, I really like that knife. The flipper feature is really slick too. Nice work.

Just my opinion... I think it needs a longer lever action and more detent. I like to see more pop with a flipper.

Great concept though!

Dan I thought the very same before the knife was finished. Now I realized I can shorten the tang a bit more if I want.

Gus, this knife is fantastic!this Grind is One of my favorits and the flipper Concept is Great!thanks for showing, i love it!

Very interesting solution. I'm not sure I agree that there is a problem it solves - but this is very cool.

I think there is no doubt you are a genius of the folders. There is a ton of toughtful load of engineering behind your pieces together with top notch artsy design!!!
