Hello freinds; my name is Dwaine Carrillo and I am a knifemaker AIRKAT KNIVES and I have never been on your forums before, and was wanting to say hello and maybe show you guys a few pics of my work.
Any help in direction would be appreciated.
Thanks; Dwaine :)

Aloha Mr. Carrillo and welcome to the forum.

I have admired your work for quite some time; unfortunately, it is priced out of my range. I had the opportunity to handle one of your earlier knives and I was very impressed by the design and construction.

One small suggestion: a small defensive claw-type blade, based upon your Gutwrench. I like the industrial, high-tech look of the Gutwrench, but since I don't hunt, a defensive knife would be more useful to me. And at that price point, it's actually something I could afford.

Thanks for sharing and listening, the website looks great.

Welcome to Bladeforums! Have a look at the Makers forums. You can hang out with other knifemakers and share your expertise in Shop Talk, and if you become a Knifemaker Member you can advertise your knives for sale. A Knifemaker Membership also allows you to upload pix directly to the Bladeforums servers.

Those things are really neat! They have a really different look to them. Sorry the Apaches are'nt made any more. I've dreamed about owning one ofthose for awhile. Just don't have the cash. They do look nice though. Really nice site.

Thanks fellsa appreciate your kind words, keep checking my website I am always adding new stuff you never know when I might come up with something yall may like. I am also fixing to start building folders, I've played with them on and off here for the last few months but still haven't got where I want to be with my designs before I open my mouth and say HERE THEY ARE. I want to make sure they are right.

I can't imagine that - if you made a smaller version of the Tripwire, tip up carry, that would fit and deploy nicely from the pocket, camo coat for maybe $350 tops - that you'd blow away Strider. I'd send in my CASH yesterday.

Keep up the good work. Fantastic looking stuff!

 :D  Your knives are the HEAT bro. I have just gotten one of them and now i feel like i need a hundred more. They are,IN MY OPINION,the best hunting/combat/tactical knives out there right now.
I know there was an earlier suggestion for a smaller Tripwire, not a bad idea, but i think ur blowing away ALOT of other knife companies already...and ur just a one man op. Now THATS cool. Go Get 'Em Dwaine.....Get 'ER Done!!!
