I'm looking for a good airsoft gun and I was wondering what the best brand was. Know anything about the guns at www.shortyusa.com? I'm looking at the black spring Beretta M92f right now. And if it doesn't have a red barrel, the Beretta M93r :D . I bought an airsoft(a copy of a Beretta) gun from Wal-mart and the barrel broke:barf: . So any advice? Thanks.

Looking for a good airsoft gun? How good?

Give us a price range, maybe that'll help narrow it down.

Nasty looking chick on the front page of shortyusa. :)

Was thinking about adding brand names. Don't know why I didn't. I'm lookin at the UHC, Taurus, and KWC models of the M92f. How good? Better than the one I got at Wal-mart:rolleyes: . Price range? 20-40usd. Also, the KWC model says it's "powerful". I'm assuming they mean fps? That would be good too. So would some all black or silver(no red tips :D ) electrics. Hope this helps.

I've heard people say good things about UHC, and I've heard about KWC (mainly through blowback gas guns, very fragile).

I think that at this price range, you shouldn't expect too much in terms of durability. That tight spring in a plastic body is going to wear through eventually. Marui produces a huge series of high quality spring guns (~$50), and even those will break over time. I've had two break over about three years of intermittent use (these were the older designs though, 1911A1 and Sig P228). My H&K USP has also seen a bit of internal wear and tear, though it's still functioning properly.

The electric guns have pathetic power. :) The cycling isn't all that impressive or fast either, especially if you've fired real pistols or even gas blowbacks. I'd buy one as a gimmick or weak close-quarters skirmish gun.
