Thanks Yangdu. So nice. I need a karda and camchak now to go with it.

The photos speak for themselves. Both are 16.5".
The full tang handle of the Ajambari Knife, although heavier at 28oz seems lighter (to me) because of the balance.
The BAS at 26oz seems like a nose heavy chop-a-saurus though.
But the point of balance isn't that different.
Overall the finish on the blade of the BAS is fully done and very fine.
But the handle of the Ajambari Knife, especially the pommel is exceptional.
The BAS pommel overhangs the wood a little, i will take a file to it and make smooth.. A minor improvement.
But after starting out with a KLVUK, all I can say is WOW about the fit and finish of these "first quality" HI kuks. Even the Ajambari Knife which has a plain unpolished finish, and simple line for the "sword of shiva" is finely crafted in every other regard.
One of these fine knives is bound for another soul as a gift. Spreading the HI love around!
So, which one should i gift? Which should i keep? Thinking i want a chopper, but the Ajambari Knife feels so right in the hand. Might not be as good of a chopper but i can put G10 scales on a full tang one day.....
I know you guys have had the same delima.. help a brother out.
And check out how pretty the mustard patina came out on the Ajambari!
