That is the Los Padres National Forest the Frazier Park area. Weather was perfect for a hike and a picnic with the kids.

Very nice pics H2O. They kind of remind me of the area around lake Arrowhead. Though I have not been there since I was 10. Beautiful! Going camping next week, now I want to leave today. LOL! Thanks,

Are those Navy storm whistles the kids are wearing? Whatever kind they are, that's a good safety measure. How hot was it out there? It's a few degrees above picnic weather over here.

That they are, best whistles around. Temperature yesterday was around 75 F, real nice weather, a little breezy, elevation about 8250 give or take.

I camped up there once back in the mid 70's, beautiful place, and good times.
