I finally got around to unboxing my AK-47 BG (Sage and Black Canvas) and compared it to my coated and satin INFI versions. I don't see any difference in the blade profile. I thought the tips were supposed to be a little different, but I don't see it on mine. The only difference I found was that the BG version fits a bit tight in a sheath (Buy Brown kydex, I think) that fits the coated INFI version well.

The handle comes a little further forward on the BG, causing it to fit tight in a regular sheath. That's the only difference I found. :)

Maybe it's just the normal variation among blades, or maybe it's a difference in coatings, but the sheath was tight enough on the BG that I didn't get as far as the handle. It would have gone in further, but I didn't want to mar the coating.

And finally, because

Things look a little different in the light of day.
But not much.

From top to bottom:
Satin with Black Paper Micarta - INFI (from Shamruckaganzaaa?)
Sage with Black Canvas - BG
Tan with Tan Canvas - INFI (original release)
Black with Black Canvas - INFI (user from original release)

And reversed:

And here's the pointy part:

The grind line appears sharper on the coated INFI version. I don't know if that a difference in the coatings or the blade, but both the coated INFI blades have a more defined line.

And this is maybe what azwelke was talking about with the handles:

There's a bit of a bevel on the INFI versions that's not there on the BG:

More so on the coated INFI than the Satin:

And then there's the CBT on the coated INFI that hardly shows under most conditions:

I thought the spine was straighter on the INFI version.

Indeed it is. How'd I miss that?
There's a bit more curve in the BG.
As seen here with the handles on a flat, level surface:

Maybe that's why it didn't want to fit the INFI sheath.
