AK-47 is a bargain

Has anyone here looked at what it costs to get a decent sword ? Out of curiousity, I browsed a little at swordforums and checked some of the makers websites and the AK-47 looks like a bargain in comparison. You get a nearly indestructible, well-made, useable (if you have any uses for a sword, that is) blade of INFI for well under $1K. You do not get any sort of historical dressing if that is what you are after, but useable (as opposed to decorative only) swords seem to start at about the same price (for standard models, not customs) as an AK-47 and go up MUCH higher.

I know this is apples and oranges, but if you are on the market for a sword, the AK looks like a good deal!

And try finding one at this price and performance with the same guarantee. I don't beleive that exists at all.

I have been in denial long enough. I want an AK-47 so bad it physically hurts, but my family comes first. So I'll live vicariously through my fellow Busse forumites who so kindly will share pics. I need a Busse lay-a-way program.............click......................whiner mode off:foot:

Seriously though, I have window shopped for swords for quite some time. The AK-47 just is the best deal I've seen. And like Cleaner145 points out, that Guarantee, ain't nothin' like nowhere else.:D

i happen to know a place where you can get one and they will carry the full warranty. blk/blk, dsrt/tan, olv/blk and gry/blk. all have undergone a special extra heat treating for the company store ;)

The "special extra heat treating" involves a Johnny Walker Blue blade quench!!!!  Very pricey but well worth the added performance!!!

Johnny Walker Blue is far better drunk that on the blades...Jerry had an open invite for some if he ever makes it to Northern Detroit

No disrespect to Jerry or JWB, but I'll take my Captain Morgan's and spend what's left on INFI.:D
(Of course I've not tried JWB.)
