AK bayonet question??

I have a Bulgarian milled "Arsenal" 47', a Russian SGL-21 and a "Waffen Werks" Bulgy 74'. All have bayonet lugs.

Though I have the rifles, I don't have bayonets for any of these. Thought I might buy some of the bayonets to place on each of these rifles.

Some questions:

Are any of these bayonets supposed to have an edge on them, or are they only supposed to be for stabbing?

How difficult is it to put and maintain an edge on these pieces?

Does anyone know what type of steel (Russian and Bulgarian) these bayonets are made from?

Thanks much...

Bayonets in general are primarily meant for stabbing. They're also made to be useful for light prying and maybe some chopping and things of that nature, but are generally not useful for doing any real cutting, which is why soldiers are also issued SAKs and other multitools.
