I believe it's a romanian Ak-74 bayonet if anyone knows differently please let me know.
 
Yup, it's pretty much like the ones we used in the army, so I guess you're correct. :) Do you also have the sheath? It transforms with the knife into a pair of scissors for wires, nails aso. Works pretty well.
They make for poor throwers, BTW, so take care ;)
 
Yeah, my father came over tonight to my place, and I asked him to take a look at that. He served in the Romanian army as a full Lieutenant (conscript, national service).

He concurs with dialex, it looks like the one he had too, a knife he liked very very much.

dialex is right, you have to see the sheath too though, as it's as important as the knife since it transforms into a wire cutter when used together.

I second that, the steel used to make those bayonets is quite brittle.
Just like the whole AK family, you can find one worldwide. It makes a cheap and utilitarian knife you can use and abuse....
