Been awhile since i posted in here.

I have a AK-47 Im wanting to get refinished with new handles, maybe even some colored spacers. Anyone know how this process works and care to give me some pointers?
I'm wondering who to contact? Garth?
How long a wait there is when doing something like this?
Also anybody know any price rates just so i could have an idea?

Any info will be appreciated.

E-mail Garth and tell him what you want and he will get back to you with a price and approximate time frame.

I sent a MS and SAR5 that were heavily used to the shop. They were both stripped, beat, blunt and had suffered
several sessions on the 1x30 belt sander.

This was the Meaner, the SAR5 was in the exact same condition with Black Micarta.

Like brand new, its mind blowing how perfect these knives look and the price was
very reasonable.
I asked Garth to thin out the Meaner and give it a nice tip and boy did he deliver,
Its like a scalpel.
I had shaped the handle on the SAR5 to fit my hand before I sent it in and they had
no problem blending the new G-10. It feels incredible.

It may take a few months but it is worth the wait. I am already brain storming
about what is going in next.

Thanks for the replies.
Looks like I'll be emailing Garth.

FTR-14c your pieces are just another example of the quality work the custom shop produces. I'll be sure to take some pics of the AK before and after, I'll have to post a thread about it.
