I'm not engineer, but I know velocity times weight, i know momentum, and the AK was subject to a hell of a lot more stress cutting wood than the lighter Busse was cutting brush. So yeah, it needed more edge work afterwards. Though, you know, kinda funny about that. Most of my khukuris really don't need edge work after cutting wood.
Anyway, if a Busse costs what? 500 to 1000? A khukri model might run 2000 dollars. I see some in the thread wanted a khukri Busse. By all means, buy one.
