AK + Sirupati Combo

Received my new Sirupati in the mail today and wanted to share my HI Duo. The AK will handle heavier chopping work with the Sirupati taking care of brush clearing/machete work.

They are both by Bura with horn handles and white metal fittings. I think they are a very fetching combo. :)

18" ang khola and a light 20" siru was the best combo I had. If I ever have money again, that's going to be my first re-purchases.
 
White metal fittings + horn handle = total class. There's something about a monochrome khukuri that oozes a simple sophistication. Did you mention the lengths? They are very nice knives.

I have been thinking about what to get next.

My only other HI at the moment is a cute little 6.25" Kagag Katne by Sgt. Khadka with a Horn handle. That one get's daily use as a letter opener and I keep it in my pencil cup on my desk.

Here are the other HI knives I'm thinking about adding if they show up for sale:
- a BIG chopper like an 18" AK or a BGRS
- a small field knife like a 12" AK or Sirupati
- a silver mounted AK (so nice)
 
I like the combo. Have a 20" Sirupati and 16.5" WWII combo made by Bura. Good stuff. :) Thanks for sharing the pictures.
