AK Villager pic of blued blade

on the 23rd was my amature bluing(Super Blue) and browing(Plum Brown) of blades and parts...browned some sword fittings then blued the blade of a reproduction Patton sword from MLR after the protective coating was removed...then I blued my AK Villager I'll take and post better pics when I have the chance

From the look of the pics, mine came out a lot darker. Maybe I did something right for once. It almost looks like you can still see a hamon on yours. Can you, or is that just the way the light hits the khuk?
 
Your work looks good Sweet. I love the khukuri. Never did care for the Patton sabre.

On your top picture in your most previous post the handle looks as if the butt swell on either side of the pommel have been trimmed back, leaving the top and bottom.

If it makes it easier to fgure out, it appears that if you were looking at the pommel end on, it would appear to be less round and more oblong. Have you done any trimming like that to the kuk?
 
no mods to the handle thats the way it came....only thing I have done is the bluing:D
