Well said I would not post any more pics till I got a digital camera...so I got one and trying to figure out how to use all the stuff it has + the 2 CDs it came with :rolleyes: so...here are a couple of shots from the new camera

AK Villager with horn handle, not a big fan of horn handles...but when they are like this I like'em!

Dang it, Sweet, so you're the one who got the horn-handled one! (I got it's wood brother) The matte look on that unpolished horn looks wicked.

Hey Aardvark...yep the unpolished horn does look mean and also feels great...

?? As far as I can tell, a few minutes with 400 or 600 grit sandpaper will make most any horn handle look like that.

Put on a little dressing and they get this kinda translucent, darker color but are still not shiny. I think I'm keeping my chainpuri handle that way, at least for now. Seems to make it seem a little more vicious, if that's possble.
 
love the steel fittings onn the villagers. Kinda whish I hadn't given my 15" vilage AK away, but I get to visit every now and again.

Is that brass or white metal on the chape there?
