AK Villager pics

Well said I would not post any more pics till I got a digital camera...so I got one and trying to figure out how to use all the stuff it has + the 2 CDs it came with

so...here are a couple of shots from the new camera

AK Villager with horn handle, not a big fan of horn handles...but when they are like this I like'em!

Dang it, Sweet, so you're the one who got the horn-handled one! (I got it's wood brother) The matte look on that unpolished horn looks wicked.

?? As far as I can tell, a few minutes with 400 or 600 grit sandpaper will make most any horn handle look like that.

Put on a little dressing and they get this kinda translucent, darker color but are still not shiny. I think I'm keeping my chainpuri handle that way, at least for now. Seems to make it seem a little more vicious, if that's possble.

love the steel fittings onn the villagers. Kinda whish I hadn't given my 15" vilage AK away, but I get to visit every now and again.
