AK47 with Swamp Rat Waki style Scales?

Now that i know WHAT i'm hoping for, i'd like to know if it's ever been done before... so here goes

This is the normal groove pattern on an AK47 g10 handle

I would like to have the same G10 but with THIS groove pattern

does anyone know if there has ever been an AK47 produced with that pattern? If not, is it something that the custom shop could make happen?
 
Lol... See, i have this problem... i think too much, and i have a lot of spare time

that ends in a great deal of curiosity and boredom. Ergo the large number of questions... don't hate me ;)

Maybe someone from Busse can chime in here... I'd rather not bug them anymore at the custom shop.

I already bugged Garth about the gladius i'm getting, and he was incredibly helpful, but i don't think they'd appreciate me bugging them with every little question
 
:rolleyes:Ah, but this is an actual "business" question. You'd like to purchase a set of AK scales with a different relief pattern. Seems a perfectly legitimate question to me.:)
 
Called and talked to Lexi. Garth is out sick for the day, but she's going to ask him and get back to me

On a much happier note, she's also putting in my order for the Gladius and TGLB... She was great. I know why everyone loves her now. Don't know the last time i've had such a friendly person on the phone when placing an order
 
I think it's unlikely because the Waki's handle and scales are wider than the AK's, so Garth would have to set up a completely different CNC program. There isn't as much room for the zig-zag wiggle. :)
 
i'd be willing to pay a little extra to have a one of a kind AK47, but if it turns out to be an extra 400+ i'll be very happy with my standard AK when it arrives ;)

Garth forgot to bath his liver at Blade Show. :D And Lexi is great to chat with and is gracious when dealing people like us lol
 
I can say with certainty that i'm a total pain in the ass. I have more questions than a 9th grade math test, but she not only put up with me, but she was incredibly friendly, and made the whole thing painless.
