As most on here know I love the WSK knives by RS6. Seen today they are going to release an adventure knife. It looks like it will fit the job for the woods. I will post a review once I get one.

That isn't just "inspired by." It is a direct knockoff! The blade profile, the two lanyard holes and squared off butt, even the horizontal sheath! Maybe Mr. Red Scorpion should micro engrave "baer" on it as well.

I am hoping it is tough. I like the Bears Grylls knife design but don't have that kinda cash. This one is supposed to be affordable. I like the sheath design.

Defnite rip-off but might be ok as long as that's not a hollow grind !!!!

I really liked the RS6 ESK knife design, and was in the process of ordering one when it came out that he was not the actual knifemaker and was importing his knives from China :thumbdn:

I don't want to come down on the OP, just thought you should be aware.

Found these specs. I am going to definately try one. It's only money. And by the way... It's a knife purchase. Just my small part of helping the economy.
Specs:

440 C Stainless Steel w/ black coating
G-10 Handles - Black
Secret Handle Survival compartment like ESK
Hex Hardware
Horizontal Leather sheath.

Blade: 4"
Overall length: 8.5"

Said on the forum no more than $150. I was going to ask about the uncoated blade.

If I recall correctly, that is what got him banned from Blade Forums.

This wouldn't be the first model by RS6 that shows similarities with other designs.
I think it would be nice that the maker adds a bit more personality to his concepts so that he can actually claim them to be his own.

I do however like the idea the knives are going for a pretty decent price, compared to the competitors

Didn't he also had those imaginary friends that instantly popped up to support him and defend his knives. Looks like we've been there already.

Anyway: cheesy name, poor ethics... looks like a dark ops wannabe.

Dude - 440 C imported from China for 150? Ummmm... ICK.

Let me count the knives I would pick up for that price, Breeden, Kosters, Koyote, Stomper, Brian Andrews and about eleventy billion other BRKT's! ;)

Let us know what you think of it bro - it is your money and your purchase - there is no accounting for preference - and you might find it is the BEST knife for YOU.

Got the AK6 today and it is worth the money. The sheath needs work but with a little mod it works great. I am going to use it as a EDC. I am planning on taking some pics and using it this weekend on a camp out. Pretty sharp right out of the box but it is 440C stainless so I will have to see how the edge holds up.
