Hello, I bought the AKC extreme evo OTF last year and love the knife. however, recently I noticed that two of the screws that hold the two halves of the handle together have fallen out. Does anyone know where I can find the screw specs, or where I can purchase replacement screws? I have already emailed BladeHQ.com and the manufacturer AKC. Blade HQ states they are unable to provide me with this information, and AKC has not responded after several email requests...
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!!

Since the knife is made in Taiwan, it's a safe bet the screws are metric.

You won't likely get any help from AKC. The Campolins (who own AKC) are not known for their customer service.

any screws left in it that are the same size......take one out and measure it....
Yeah, fair point. was hoping to find out if I could avoid that and get the exact match the manufacturer is using but so far it is looking like the only option...

Thats a shame. this is exactly why I have been so loyal to Benchmade, Cold Steel and Spyderco. they are all phenomenal at sending replacement screws or pocket clips, often at no charge. I handled an AKC and just really liked it, so I had to have one.

Have you tried the local hardware store? Except for those infuriatingly small torx that some custom makers tend to favor, If you got a sample, you can take it to compare threads, if its longer, it can always be sanded down.

Failing that... My go to is to keep a stash of knife hardware from brands that have a healthy mod market (benchmade, spyderco), you'd be surprised at how many times the screws are a close or perfect fit....
