Thought I'd post a small virtual show here since I really appreciate when other guys do the same. This is the Arizona Knife Collectors Assoc. Annual Show at the Civic center In Mesa.

We'll start with the pretty ladies. This is local Phoenician Lorraine Hansen holding one of many great wooden items she and her husband Mark make for collectors and shooters. Mark was at the local Silhouette Match at the great 1650 acre Ben Avery Shooting Facility selling his wares. I am going to order a Mesquite wood display box one of these days. Their stuff is fabulous

Next up is Yuma maker Andy Nobregas and his wife/test subject. He offered to show me how sharp his knives really were (Note the red shirt) but I told him I believed him ...That poor woman:(

Now going to the opposite end of the pretty lady spectrum we have AKCA President Rich Hale asking me how many knives i want. I think i'd be satisfied with 15....at least for this year.

Here is my Birthday buddy and one of my favorite makers Mike Mooney. I bought a beautiful S30V and Ironwood hunter from him at last years show (second picture). It was one of those "gotta have " deals. I told my wife I was just going to discuss construction of one of Mikes standard hunter models with a giraffe bone handle, but I could not let that knife fall into the wrong hands, i.e. any hands but mine. It is light and balanced to perfection. Mike has a nice portfolio on his table and I go through it wishing I had every one. I hope to have the giraffe bone knife by February. Next in line will be one of his kitchen knife sets. "I will wait 'til next year Honey."

This is "Sold Out" Skip Slocum. Just like a newbie to not bring enough knives to a knife show. He has a great "Sheath Latch" system that would allow you to tumble down a 50 foot rock face and still have a knife in your sheath. His prices were like stealing. A great utility user. I am going to get one for sure.

Michael Miller , from New Mexico ,I think ( sorry Mike i lost your card somewhere). His juniper handle knives were stunning.
