The American Knifethrowers Alliance will be holding their 6th annual Knife and Tomahawk throwing Championships in Awendaw, South
Carolina on October 12-13 2001. There will be top knife and tomahawk throwers from across the country and sometimes we get an overseas competitor. Now is your chance to try out that new Ranger hawk, as well as any of your other throwing knives and hawks. ATC will be one of the sponsors and will be giving away a few hawks during this years event. There will also be quality custom throwing knives to be given away by other sponsors like The American Knife Company and Branton Knives, Tru Balance Knives, Dan D Knives, Jeff Koch knives.

There are many Mountain man rendevous held in the US so it would be hard to answer without knowing which one, but...

If you are talking about the Creede, CO event this past July, then you are speaking of "Moses". He resides in Texas and really only does historical events so he would probably not show. I know I might as well not show if he showed up as he can split a playing card sideways from 6 paces.

If you are speaking of Pat Minter, who took 3rd place for the hawk in Creede, yeah he will probably be there. Once again though you had better be on your best day with Pat.

As I stated the other night, I will be there. I can't promise the wife will support me this time as she is still to recent at a new job for time off.

Is Andy going to escort them new competitors from Jersey?
 
I got confirmation today that Mike and Linda from Colorado will be attending. So far we have folks from Colorado, California, Iowa, Virginia,Alabama, New Jersey, New York,and Michigan to name a few.
No, the New Jersey guys are newcomers.
